I graduated from University of Southampton with a degree in Woven textiles in 2009, and subsequently won the 2010 New Design Britain Award for Textiles and Surface Design.

The National Trust bought one of the designs for their new Visitor Centre at the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland and I supplied the shop with Throws and Scarves in the design.

I spent the following 5 years self employed within the weaving and spinning industry in England providing the mills with design collections to be produced on industrial Dobby and Jacquard looms and treated at specialist finishing companies. I independently worked on designs and commissions for a varied client base.

In addition I had my own collection of entirely British woollens, which were sold online and through the National Trust.

Having moved away from the industrial processes, production and product, my current focus is now a more academic approach to producing unique pieces of art cloth that are the result of a continual exploration and investigation of the relationship between fibre and structure in woven cloth.

I have an MA ( Distinction ) in Textiles from The University of Creative Arts and currently show my work with the art collective Transition Craft and Design, (www.transitioncraftdesign.co.uk) with the Textile Echoes group and various collaborations.
